About HytaleLobby

Any server owner can add a server for free by signing in with Discord and entering its address and port. Listings are created by the owners themselves; we do not review each one by hand.

What we do instead is check every listed server automatically every 5 minutes. The check reads the server’s online status and current player count, and those are the numbers shown on the list and on each server page. A server that stays offline for 7 days in a row is removed from the list automatically; its owner can add it again once it is back.

Rank is decided by player votes and nothing else. Servers are sorted by their votes this month, and if two servers have the same number of votes the newer listing goes first. Rankings are recalculated every hour.

Votes reset on the 1st of every month at 00:00 UTC, so a new server always has a fair chance to climb. Paid premium placements never change a server’s vote ranking.

Each player can vote for a server once every 24 hours. The limit is enforced per username and per IP address, and it is checked atomically so sending many requests at once does not register extra votes.

Server owners can connect a Votifier (v1 or v2) listener from their dashboard so that votes can trigger in-game rewards.

Servers at the top of the list in the Premium section have won a monthly auction. Bids are in multiples of $5, the minimum winning bid is shown publicly on the auction page, and the winners are featured for the whole month. Premium servers are paid placements and appear in their own section.

The Rent a Server page links to our hosting partner RealisticNode through a partner link, so we may earn a commission if you sign up.
